How to boost engagement on Bigo this Autumn

Have you been struggling with live stream engagement recently? We have collated a few tried and tested methods to help you boost your engagement for bigo live streams this autumn!

Teaser videos / images

You might have seen some streamers posting teaser videos or photos of themselves. This is a great way to briefly advertise your profile or an upcoming live stream. By giving followers a taster of what to expect in an upcoming live video they are more likely to watch out for it and tune in! More teaser videos = higher engagement!

Follower – streamer interactions

Another great way to boost engagement is by interacting with your followers in a live video. A common way to do this is through chats in a live session where the streamer can answer any questions followers may have. This is also a great way to get to know your followers, find out what they want to see in your live videos and advertise any live videos you have coming up!

Set goals

A really common way to boost engagement in live videos is by setting goals or incentives – for example, a musician may say “at 4 stars I’ll play my brand new song”. By setting goals, you are encouraging your followers to interact with your live video and in return you are giving them something that they want to see! This means more engagement for the streamer and the followers get to hear a new song that they want to hear; a win win for all!
