While practise and consistency are super important and vital, they can take some time to develop. However, we have some great tips that can help jumpstart the process of confidence. Tips you can use before pressing the Live button on BIGO!
1. Power pose
It might sound silly but it really works! Taking an expansive stance – for just 2 minutes – can help you feel more powerful and confident. One of our personal favourites is placing our feet firmly on the ground and bringing our arms high above our heads in a “V” shape. Everyone enjoys confidence so get on your feet, streamers, and strike a pose!
2. Breathe
So you’ve done your posing, and you’re ready to start your stream, right? Stop – take a minute. Breathe.
It sounds so simple, but thinking about how you want your stream to go can make a massive difference! Give your body a moment to prepare itself to keep your stream lively the whole way through!
3. Plan, Plan, Plan
Benjamin Franklin once said – “If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail”. In other words – Always have a plan. If you don’t have a lot of experience in front of a camera, writing a bullet point list of key things you want to include in your stream can really help you focus! If you’re worried you’ll run out of things to say, having a plan of action will go a long way to easing that pre-stream anxiety.
